For my graduate thesis, I designed the set, lighting and costumes for Bacchae 2.1 by Charles Mee, based on the play by Euripides. He had chosen third world women artists for the chorus and I was very excited to have the opportunity to design costumes based on a variety of different cultures. (Not all of my costume renderings are posted here.) I was able to choose a theater since my thesis was not going to be produced and I chose The Belasco Theater in New York City. For my set I used some Greek influences while keeping it in modern times with modern graffiti art.
